Croton can withstand full-sun to partial sun, perfect for your westerly window that receives that afternoon sun (ideally behind a sheer curtain so it doesn't burn the foliage). The bright foliage is a sign that this plant is toxic to humans and animals, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after handling. Wash immediately if you come into contact with it's sap. This plant enjoy drying out between waterings, bottom watering once a fortnight during warmer months will help your Croton thrive. Fertilise during growing seasons monthly, refrain from fertilising during winter.
