Calathea are a tropical plant and find it difficult to tolerate cold weather. They are great as an indoor plant as we can control what will help these thrive. Indirect bright light is ideal for the delicate yet striking foliage. You can also group similar plants together to create a micro climate. Bottom watering is highly suggested as they are prone to root rot.
